“Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs”

What may seem like an absurd weather report from a novelty newspaper, ‘Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs’ is actually an engaging film from Disney. Released just two weeks ago, it has already climbed to the top of the box office in both the Uk and Ireland.

What first may come across as a children’s film (eg. inventive title, brightly coloured animation…) turns out to be a film that will interest not just kids but adults alike. The vulnerability of the main character makes him likable by all, we will him to succeed and triumph against his previous failures and over-baring father.

The added bonus of the film being in 3-D means that it will capture your attention from the very start and leave you wanting more. Even better than ‘Manna from Heaven’, ‘Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs’ is one of the stand out films from this year.
